The Sol Mobility Bath Lift has a slimline shape, narrow footprint and large flexible suckers to ensure that it is suitable for bath types found here in Gran Canaria hotels and apartments. It has been designed for safe transfers onto the bathing seat and fitting and removing is simplicity itself. The compact design means it sits right in the back of the bath to provide essential extra legroom. When lowered these valuable extra inches of legroom add more comfort when bathing.
Easy to use.
The lightweight waterproof handset is easy to both operate and hold with large rocker switches make operating the bath lift easy. The controls are large, raised and positive to the touch requiring minimal user pressure. The distinguishable, white arrows which are raised ensure that operation is also easy for visually impaired users. A battery status monitoring system indicates the charge level of the battery. An important incorporated safety feature is that the bath lift will not descend if there is insufficient charge for a complete bathing cycle to be completed.
Battery charging is straightforward and to eliminate any confusiona fully automatic battery charger is included.
The bathing cycle:
For one bath the lift is raised automatically from its storage position at the bottom of the bath to the height of the bath, then lowered into the water supporting a person of up to 160kg. After bathing, the bath lift will raise the person to the height of the bath and should then be lowered to the bottom of the bath until next required.
