Description
The Standing Hoist has an angled column which raises the user in a gentle up-and-forward action which imitates the natural standing movement. This is the only lift with this unique feature and is the best choice for optimum transfers from one sitting position to another, whether it involves beds, chairs or toilets, standing up or stand-up training.
The Standing Hoist has an extra low base, which makes it easy to get under beds, chairs and most wheelchairs, and even though its legs cannot be spread, they are wide enough to get around a toilet. The small wheels are placed in such a way that the lift is very easy to manoeuvre and its weight distribution gives stability for safe, secure transfers.
The supplied sling is specially designed to provide quick, comfortable, secure transfers and has an anti-slip surface on the inside to help prevent it from sliding up. It is easily fitted and gives an even pressure distribution whilst the waist belt provides extra support and stability for the small of the back. The design of the sling allows for easy adjustment of clothing making it the perfect sling for toileting.
